First Strike is a gimmick started by PCGS their claim was that these coins were minted with fresh dies that were struck first so they had better definition , pure bullshit, the US Mint says they dont even know what coins were struck first or last they dont keep the order that they were made, all lies and a rip off a marketing con game

Honestly if I had to guess, I'd say the reason the 95-W is higher despite a slightly higher mintage is because of higher demand (ok, bear with me); more people likely collect the traditional, "regular" proof ASEs, and further, more people want a complete set than reverse proofs

I had a 1889-cc xfine details cleaned, like you I sent it to pcgs for a regrade on the Morgan sorry It was in Ngc holder It came back au details cleaned please what is the value for it ? The coin is a little dark and through it was not cleaned is why I had it regraded Please respond when you can

If you don't have a 95-W they are terribly overpriced If you do happen to have one the $3000 price tag is ridiculously low Mr Market makes the final decision

Yup it amazes me how much popularity affects a coins value over absolute rarity When compared to other ASE the 1995w is low however when compared to other series having 30k surviving with all being in exceptional pr69-pr70 condition it’s not very rare at allbrA coin like this will never be for me however if I was to stumble upon one on the Cheap I’d probably buy it

The 1995 W does nothing for me It's that way with a good number of modern coins, truth be told However, the 2019 enhanced reverse proof Eagle I find absolutely stunning I wish I would have bought one new Thanks for sharing those with us!
