those are rookie numbers if you sign up to a lot of the best sites and just do the top paying surveys you can earn $10/hour (australian)brbrthese guys were obviously grinding on the worst sites on the lower paying surveys

No disrespect but while u won't be able to make a "living" doing surveys u can have extra money Prolific, Swagbucks, and Prime Opinion are good It would have been nice if you had mentioned an alternative But telling someone NOT to do surveys who may need what little cash they pay, that's like a super health nut telling a poor and hungry person NOT to eat a Big Mac

UHRS and microtasks in general have also ended up like this They never paid much, but at least a few years ago it was possible to make some money using them More recently, especially since the pandemic, the tasks have an effective pay rate in the order of $2 per hour, while being incredibly boring and repetitive, with no challenge or sense of fulfilment, and absolutely zero room to grow or advance In the past, I might have recommended them to someone with nothing better to do, but today they're just awful

Agreed but I have to add one exception! Prolific does scientific/academic studies and the surveys don't ask for private info They also have a minimum hourly wage Don't expect to make massive amounts, but I've made a couple hundred over the years!

I do online surveys on Prolific when I want to kill time, such as when in bathroom or as a passenger on a long journey Sure, it’s not a fortune, but it’s a little extra cash for time that I would otherwise waste 😂
