There's a coin same year same coin as these but the mint mark of the S is supposed to be blurry cause the plate was old they were using to strike them with They actually changed and began using another S and it kind of looks like it connects to itself almost like infinity sign The first one struck there had the blurry S and I believe are worth more Altho I've never seen any I'm new to all this do forgive me if I make any mistakes

I'd love to hear your thought on what I see as the evolution of the Type 1 and Type 2 1979 proofs When I first started collecting this variety it was pretty cut and dry Either you had a "blob" or a "Clear S" With the corresponding images showing a "Blob" as being an almost indistinguishable blob (like the one shown in this video) and a Clear S Mint Mark showing a clearly defined S when comparing the two If you could see an S it was considered a Type 2 But now I see more and more the distinction being between a "Filled S" and a "Clear S," with the image of the "Filled S" showing a somewhat defined S, not a blob Has the criteria for the Type 2 designation been updated? I have some 1979 Proofs that have a sharp upper part of the S while the lower curve is slightly filled Are these still considered Type 2 coins? I'd like to hear your thoughts
