If you are a single woman and want to feel comfortable and safe, I would advise giving the 18th and 10th a miss It is ok to go there during the day but the evening can be umfortable and you will have more street harrassment than in nicer areas Comment from : Hubertine Pankhurst |

Hotets in Paris are very expensive ranking at 450 or 4 1/2 green dot on tripadvisor didn’t mean a thing 8 year ago we stayed at this Hotel de l’Avre near the Eiffel tower quite small hotel BUT very lousy bed and bedding at 105 euros we would expect a comfortable bed not a flimsy bed with blanket quality of Motel 6 some 20 years ago come on if you can't provide comforters at least you should give guests a nice soft thick newer blanket that cost may be US$15 in Walmart With all my traveling never had I read "please do not eat inside your hotel room” and would not have been offended by "please keep the room clean if you eat" Comment from : DD Bliss |

The cheapest place I stay is with family members, especially tante Dominique in the 6e Not only do I not have to pay for the room but I also eat and wonderfully and for free So my top tip is to have wealthy French family members with property in Paris Comment from : Pete Welsh |
HellobrI love and enjoy watching your tour guide clips for sure I will have you as my tour guide in Paris👍😍 Comment from : Jam naamania |

I'm sorry but it's ridiculous to say that the 19th & 20th aren't "the best part of town"! If what you want from a trip to Paris is to be surrounded by other tourists go ahead and follow the advice in this video For the more independent-minded Belleville, Buttes Chaumont & Menilmontant are truly delightful The choice is yours! Comment from : Rae Donaldson |
I just finished a week at the 25Hour Hotel that you feature Was very happy there as a solo female traveler (who doesn't speak French) Great transportation connections, interesting decor, friendly staff and Terminous Nord right downstairs Comment from : Kate Blood |

I stayed about two blocks from Arc de Triompe I was in Paris for 3 days and it cost $1000, Canadian But, when I walked out of my hotel and I turned to look up the street, I saw that Arc I thought all places were the same price I know for next time! Anyway, I spent the majority of time in London, but learned the euro is better than the pound, when I converted the prices! So, saving up for Paris again Comment from : Laurie Davis |
Thank you! This is very informative! I just booked a hotel in 6th arrondissement It’s a budget 3 stars hotel but the fare is what 4 stars hotel in east Asia would cost 😅 Comment from : EV L |

Great video🥰 I travelled to Paris from South Africa in 2017 but, a few days before this trip, broke 3 bones in my foot Resulting in my only going out once, to the Eiffel Tower, and it being quite the effort I started planning, looking at all the different areas but sadly ended up spending 5 days on the outskirts in a budget hotel😪 I will go back one day, and will hopefully be able to experience more of beautiful Paris Comment from : Priscilla Zietsman |
Every time I've been through Gare du Nord there was a van load of CRS parked outside Comment from : Joseph Turner |
When on the Metro, watch out for ticket dodgers The gates are full size and chancers will jump in behind you They are not intending to mug you, just travel without paying I felt quite sorry for the guy I decked when he explained Comment from : Joseph Turner |
I used to take a baguette and cheese and some wine of course and sit up in front of Sacre Coeur to enjoy the view It was quite entertaining watching les flics periodically moving the Senegalese Del Boys off the steps 😂 they were quite good at packing their trash and legging it brDo you know, there is a pissoir round to the right on Mont Martre?brReminds me of Clochemerle Comment from : Joseph Turner |
I think, concerning the 14e you are mistaken you include hotels pretty much from the 6e which is one of the most expensive arrondissement and fail to include true option at the south of Montparnasse (like gaité or denfert) which are great regarding transport with la 13, la 4 and la 6 (metro lines) but also the rer B who all go to the important spots (espacialy since if you are close to Denfert/Alésia area they you have direct ways to go to the two airports) and these areas are very safe Other than that I find your first two tips very true Comment from : Camille |
Being several times to Paris, different places Going for the third time to the 20th, easy to get there by car, nice hotel, nice people, good food, nit expensive and close to metro and tram Going with my teenage daughter this time Looking forward to it Comment from : Bxxx |

Sobasicallyif you have a disability with regard to mobilityor a disability that requires ACyou are out of luck Nice to know Paris's best hotels are worse, in that regard, than the cheapest Motel 6 in the US So much for Europe not being backward and actually being a caring society Sad Comment from : L Godwin |
A great hotel is Hôtel FABRIC, At the Oberkampf Metro ( 2 lines ) and just a few metro stops of Paris Nord train station Comment from : Patrick Damiaens |
