Doug, whenever I drop a coin, I usually say "I am glad the floor is there or the coin would still be falling" Usually gets a laugh when I pick up the coin

I own both of those books Mark Wilson's book is a great starter or reference book For coin magic David Roth's book is a coin workers Bible, but is no longer in print

I also love and highly recommend the Mark Wilson book — RIP, Mark My uncle was the first person to show me some close up magic, also the French Drop Lately I’ve been working on my Classic Palm and thinking about a good one coin routine Thanks for some good ideas!
