The coin you are showing at 10:35 is a Turkish 40 Para coin of the Ottoman Empire In the middle square between the wreath is 4-characters This is the Arab date of 1327 or 1916 on our calendar It's only worth about 25-cents in the condition you have 61 grams Nickel Comment from : @williamlipscombii1565 |
At 4:40, I am fairly sure that Drape Bust Large Cent looks like an 1898/7 variety in AG-03/Good-4 condition which is worth about $385 Comment from : @williamlipscombii1565 |

Man I'm still hoping we can get some kind of long form video of world coins, as someone who doesn't collect this stuff, seeing these designs is really cool, even the British stuff you are pointing out are completely unknown to me (actually just about everything in this bag is unknown to me), but still love the video as always Comment from : @regorllerref |
Dang! That was a sweet video! That 1798 large cent - even those it wasn't in the best shape - was an incredible find! Those older Canadians were cool! Nice hunt Rob, I inherited my father’s old coin collection There’s a couple of mason jars full of foreign coins I started to go through and was very time consuming, some day I’ll have to do some more research Need to find a book on collectible foreign coins might be easier than online searching Comment from : @jonnieson9656 |
Jealous! I think for future hunts it would be interesting to see the coins sorted by country, even the base metal stuff so we can get a sense of how much is truly in therebrbrTo that end: one of the "Canadian large cents" (the one sitting on top of the stack) looks like a French 10 Centimes from the reign of Napoleon III Comment from : @_WooWho |
What a fun bag to search through! Comment from : @justinfraser204 |

The mystery coin is an Ottoman Empire 40 Para 1327 (1916/1917) I would like a closer look at the UK pennies as there are some scarcer and rarer varieties in them Comment from : @mattscoins |
The asian coin seems an Ottoman or Turkish one, can't tell right now which one actually, but surely from there as I have many with such design Comment from : @MatteoLoro |
That Indian coin has Arabic or Farsi on it… so probably a middle eastern coin… Comment from : @janvafa9959 |
Really interesting hunt, and you got a good score out of it too brI've never messed with foreign coins much Back before Christmas I bought a small lot of foreign silver coins, mostly from Europe dating from the mid 1800's to ww2 era brI bought them mostly because I thought the designs on some of them are really beautiful I still haven't gotten through them yet, when I take a notion I'll set down research a couple and staple them in a 2x2 cardboard holder brI don't know if I'll ever buy more, but I'm satisfied with the ones I have Comment from : @lindanelson8400 |
You said this was 35 bucks? Man you have some VERY good luck my favorite coin of the bunch is the thaler I also think it's pronounced like "taller" Comment from : @Colt1836 |

Another great video, thanks, Rob! American market seems so huge and gives so much chances to good explorers, hope to see you making another big hits not only with kopeeks! The arabic coin is nickel 40 para 1327 (1908-09) from Ottoman empire Comment from : @martinivanov9310 |
As someone stated below the mystery coin is Ottoman Its dated 1327 and is a 40 Para coin Not silver It has an "El-Ghazi mark (1916-17)to the right of the turgha but can't see the regnal year under the turgha which would narrow the date to a western year Comment from : @kenkeep69 |

The mystery coins is 40 Para from the Ottoman Empire, the date on the coin in the Hijri calendar is 1327, this equates to 1909 I believe But there is also a datemark near the tughra on the obverse I couldn't make it out in your video But depending on that and whether it is the tughra of Sultan Reshat or el-Ghazi, it was minted between 1909 and 1917brbrGreat video, I reckon there is bound to be some other little jewels among those you weren't bothered about though! Comment from : @LAFTA |
