Thanks for some good recommendations! My daughter loved The Trumpet of the Swan by EB White One we read recently that she really liked was The Kingdom of Wrenly It’s a series but we have only read the first one so far Your older kids might like it because the main character is a boy but his best friend that joins in all his journeys is a girl

Thank you for highlighting some books that are good for boys Boys already seem to read less than girls do And in today's culture that is utterly destroying males, it's even more important to start them reading a young age, with books that would appeal to them

I have been working on a video of our favorite read-alouds too! So fun to see that some of them are the same, and a few you mentioned I will have to check out! (Bears on Hemlock Mountain sounds like something my kids would like) We are in the middle of The Mouse and the Motorcycle now I also have a tendency to read some bigger/older books to my kids We listened to some of the Narnia books on audiobooks in the car, which was fun Have you heard of The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place? It is my absolute favorite and best on audiobook for the narration in the English accent
