As a beginner I disagree Learn a couple strum patterns, the Learn a few chords first and a few, 2, 3 or 4 chord songs with tabs Note reading and music theory is NOT the way to learn guitar its boring asf Every times ive tried learning from music theory and note garbage i lost interest fast, and its why most fail to learnLearn to strum and make music with a few easy chords it's more accomplishing and satisfying for a beginner Comment from : @imududeplaynududedisguisedasa-

Do you have any recommendations for aural skills with guitar? The fact that guitar is a transposing instrument, how do we learn? Do I internalize middle C aurally or notationally from sheet music? I have so many questions and its confusing Comment from : @valvihk3649

Oh, the Berkley Method Vol 1 Had it for years, starts out hard, but you certainly learn to read with it Only up to the 3rd or forth piece after 30 years or so, lol Comment from : @williamphillips24
