By saying that it's myth, we are actually saying that Roger W Sperry was an ill-informed doctor, because calling it myth is equal to disagree with Roger W Sperry's all time efforts and studies Roger W Sperry didn't received the Nobel prize for a joke, he received it based on this ideology and studies of left & right brained concept I'm thinking why the world always tends to spread fake information instead of helping each other without any kind of hypocrisy

I think you brushed over the split-brain patients too quickly You mention them and just say that they show(ed) a complete range of behaviour, but that's only half the story Like, when you show something to their right eye only, they can name it and say the word, but when you show it to their left eye only, they cannot Findings like these clearly show that there is indeed a left-right separation of brain functions

There are some issues that should be discussed Let’s say the left/right brain theory is true Being left brain dominant, doesn’t mean you can’t draw(for example) Everyone is different Perhaps whichever part controls that function is very active, but the rest isn’t as active You would still be left brain dominant, but still artistic Each function for each person will vary in activity Along with knowing, as they stated themselves One side controls one side when it comes to movement Why wouldn’t it work that way for other functions as well ? I suffered a large amount of damage to my left hemisphere and was expected to lose the ability to speak or understand speech - in fact my speech is fine, and I'm far more verbose than I was before the damage My ability to maintain attention has suffered badly, suggesting to me that the split is more to do with dominant vs non-dominant rather than left vs right I'm very much left-handed so this seems to make sense in my case I also suffered complete loss of right visual field in both eyes, but my remaining vision seems to work fine, apart from occasional hallucinations just to the right of my central vision
