I've soaked in Windex for 12 hours, no longer or they start to oxidize Clean with a soft toothbrush I've had great results BUT, leaving them too long WILL permanently discolor/damage them It won't fix EVERYTHING but for light "dirt" removal it is VERY effective and makes them shiney ! Be more careful rubbing coins even when using plain waterbrYou could disturb corrosion or other material contaminating the surface, causing small pieces to come off If these come in contact with the coin itself, they can potentially scratch the coin despite your best efforts Comment from : @jpbonhomme5051 |
