I bought boxes back in 1999 of complete sets of Topps, Upper Deck, Donruss, Fleer & Ultra baseball & a few well-known basketball cards from an Estate Sell brI have 1000's of cards from the 1960's through the 80's & I have no idea what to do with them Besides, keep or sell them I went through just a few after the old man passed when I bought them I'm 50 miles South of Houston & I'm definitely not bringing these & having them graded All have perfect corners, no chips, cracks, or bends in them They all look as if they did when they were opened I did see a few, like Wade Boggs, Nolan Ryan rookies, Pete Rose & a few others out of the few I checked There's just so many cards! lol Comment from : @Mike_The_Hog_A_Nator |

My dad found his old collection He has a bunch of packets not opened yet Should I sell the unopened packs of should I open the packs and sell the cards Comment from : @Reaverzreapz |
|
Thanks for info Comment from : @gregorymoyer3944 |
|
Thank you for these tipsbrI recently got my dad's old collection Most of the cards are damaged, which truthfully isn't even the issue cuz the most important thing here is that most of the cards after 89 were made in the millions so usually for a guy like me even though I have a few excellent condition cards Such as the 1991 Sp#1 Michael Jordan, most everyone who wants one already has one So my lil tip for the junk wax cards Maybe hold out for a bit more decades and maybe the cards will wear and tear to the point junk wax era becomes normal Comment from : @johnfairweather7012 |

Selling sports cardsAdvertised as 5 selling fees They charge 129 on final cost, that includes "feeing" the taxes up here in Canada some provinces taxes exceed 15 Now they also tax the buyer Look closely at the costs as it adds up fast A $600 card/cards that you sell, you'll end up paying just about $90 in fees here in Canada Comment from : @heavymetal2027 |

Wow Dude is s Dream killer br I have about 10 to 15 thousands cards, mostly baseball some foot and basketball from 1988 thru 2000 br Out of those I have, around 4 or 5 hundred cards worth between $5 and $100 Players like Griffey Jr, McGuire, F Thomas, Jeter, A Rod, Sosa, and Bonds Pretty much Star and semi star players br My question is, will those cards sell on Ebay? I know those are not the best years for collecting, do to mass production But i hate to think that, buying cards instead of candy bars was a bad investment and total waste of time br Any thoughts to my question will be greatly appreciated br Thanks Comment from : @jonathanbreedlove4286 |

Thanks for the tips! Recently found my old stash of 90's hockey cards and learning how to list on ebay brbrCurious why you say not to buy retail and sell singles? If I buy a $50 box, I should be able to pull $50 in card value out of it, no? I mean a good rookie card alone could sell for $50, or am I missing something?brbrThanks again all the best! NEW SUBSCRIBERCool channel good info for the beginner I had a shop for 20 years I started selling on Ebay full time 1997 I sold mostly cards and signed items I agree with you 100 percent Opening Wax always been a horrible way to make money When packs were cheaper in the early 90s you could buy a box for $25 bust it open and maybe get $75-`100 for the singles Now you pay like $200 and get like $30 worth of cards I stopped buying wax packs in the mid 90s I survived on buying singles and collections I bought some killer collections One collection I bought had two fleer basketball cases from 1988-1989 The Pippen Rc year I wish I would have kept it I was selling boxes for $720 in 2000 Now they sell for like 10 times that Comment from : @themediamarauder1582 |
