@carolpack4103

Comment from : @carolpack4103

@crjetpilot
I’d never give Elon Musk a dime of my money!
Comment from : @crjetpilot

@killer2600
Is cord cutting even a thing anymore? I don't know anyone that pays for cable or satellite anymore
Comment from : @killer2600

@rainbowgaming8441
this is the way you can save alot of money buy dvds and your own music cds and mp3s brand buy records , and just get normal cable thats it
Comment from : @rainbowgaming8441

@mooring10
The good: Rural area with 25 MPs (DSL) can stream multiple (3) and 3 Alexa’s, and about 15 IOT devices (smart devices and cameras) Experience no buffering or line drops I do stop any streaming when doing Zoom calls The bad: still pay $100 per month ($100 per month in town for 500 MPs)
Comment from : @mooring10

@smtmedianetwork
Stsrlink is not a recommended service, it's a last resort Folks will likely have to overpay for home broadband if they go this route Bad advice
Comment from : @smtmedianetwork

@BenDMitchell
Faster the speeds,the faster the apps load
Comment from : @BenDMitchell

@BenDMitchell
I get much faster speeds from Comcast than I can get from T-Mobile
Comment from : @BenDMitchell

@jasondessenberg6096
I had Comcast for several years, and when I canceled for T-Mobile 5G at the time They didn't even try to keep me as a customer T-Mobile ended up being horrible and I switched to VZW T-Mobile tried to grow too big, too fast
Comment from : @jasondessenberg6096

@scottpeters1317
I have ALLO internet in Nebraska with 800 down and 800 up I pay $105 a month Does upload speed have to be high?
Comment from : @scottpeters1317

@schoolsgirl
In BFE GA I LOVED my indoor antenna, it picked up stations from 3 different states Now we are close to an airport and antenna is most times useless due to interference Comcast was our only option and our bill was crazy, over 200 per mo no sports, no showtime or hbo, they took away many of the higher channels I watched, like Nat Geo Wild, and the bill kept going upuntil TMobile became available Comcast was horrible, especially to seniors on limited budget Now that TMobile is available they 'conveniently' offer packages of around 140 with cable and internet essentials for those on a lower income but before that they were absolutely terrible, for years I was with them for more than 10 years and had to call them almost every month because the bill would go up every month over BS charges They hold you to a 'contract' but the "contract" does not apply to them
Comment from : @schoolsgirl

@ToddSmith23
I am in Grand Rapids and all I use internet for is to stream movies and get on YouTube, which would you recommend?
Comment from : @ToddSmith23

@MichaelsHomeCooking
I signed up to the waitlist for T-Mobile well over a year ago Finally got that email that I can get their service Next day I called Spectrum and told them I wanted 20 dollars off, they gave me thirty dollars off for a year plus the woman told me You are welcome to call back next year This was last June, that 30 dollars off makes a very nice difference With the discount, now I pay $53
Comment from : @MichaelsHomeCooking

@zachronspees6432
Think the only thing you left out is buying/owning your own equipment once you decided on/signed up for a service It might be more up front, but cheaper in the long run
Comment from : @zachronspees6432

@dustinbergeron7508
We got att internet air We were promised that if we have phone lines from att we would get 20 off of the internet bill They never put it on the bill we have to call every month and complain for them to give us the discount
Comment from : @dustinbergeron7508

@shanedewey8785
I actually I’m still on the affordable connection program, my isp continue that plan for $2440 a month for 100mgs That is plenty on speed for me
Comment from : @shanedewey8785

@margaretkur8161
Does anyone here have CenturyLink?
Comment from : @margaretkur8161

@butterflies015
I'm paying over 75 for at&t for internet Being on a fixes income I really want something less expensive They have a program that lowers you3cost But also lowers the speed you get So seems like you save money But end up with less service Which seems like a waste of money So looking for something that is more cost effective without losing speed
Comment from : @butterflies015

@leisure057blank3
I can’t get to Nextdoor, Reddit The only websites I can access are you tube, yahoo, xfinity email, amazon, Costco insider These I can see so far
Comment from : @leisure057blank3

@leisure057blank3
Will 5g still work if your phone doesn’t have 5g Just last week, Comcast’s stopped allowing me to go to many web sites saying they are malicious It’s like citi bank, my bank, etc I feel very vulnerable
Comment from : @leisure057blank3

@matthewjbauer1990
I have Spectrum for my internet I called and got on their assistance plan (was $15, now $25 for 50Mb, was 25Mb) I have Mint for my phone, which I can deal with and would go full T-Mobile and bundle with 5G home internet but T-Mobile doesn't give me full bars at my house If AT&T offered fiber or 5G internet, I would bundle that into cell if the price was right
Comment from : @matthewjbauer1990

@markalderman8568
I was paying $ 60-month for 6 mbps because when I got it 4 years ago it was the only option in my area but recently Verizon 4g lte home internet became available now I get 50 mbps for $50 a month and so far it been better than my old wired internet
Comment from : @markalderman8568

@balco1bj
I have toastbrNet They resell att I have 300 up and down fiber for 65
Comment from : @balco1bj

@bigtye37
But you have spectrum Internet but trying to convince everyone to use cellular data not reliable
Comment from : @bigtye37

@JKVisFX
I am in a rural area and do need the symmetrical high-speed for work As of right now, there are exactly one choice for fiber Unfortunately, the rest are cable with much slower upload speeds 5G cell internet is not viable in my area plus, they have rather strict data caps
Comment from : @JKVisFX

@frankdelosangeles
I was using xfinity and the quoted me a few years ago internet for 50 dollars a month for a year 5 months later I have this bill for almost 300 when I questioned them about it the guy said to me with a smug look well your supposed to update your payment method after 5 months too keep the deal which no one told me I ended up switching to T-Mobile 5g I’m locked in at 35 bucks never looked back I don’t understand why people still do business with xfinity the way they constantly ripoff people
Comment from : @frankdelosangeles

@nancybrown9706
T-Mobile internet sucks especially when you stream with high power devices I had to go back to SpectrumbrOne gig I am just waiting for fiber let’s see you contact create with Tmoble
Comment from : @nancybrown9706

@tomfinney8024
Unfortunately,I am one of those stuck with Comcrap There are no 4g home internet options available I have checked with all of them …T-Mobile,AT&T, and Verizon I do have Verizon Fios just litterly steps away in the housing complex next door, but the owner of our apartment complex won’t let Verizon run the cables Starlink is not available here either I live in the Richmond Va area just 5 minutes from the Airport in Sandston
Comment from : @tomfinney8024

@roberthansen2008
I live in a large US city in the Midwest and I went out and got the T-Mobile 5G home internet It works just fine I like it
Comment from : @roberthansen2008

@CuriousJoeStudios
Thanks for your excellent channel! brYou mentioned new offering Xfinity Now I was on Xfinity Internet and like a wired connection Took some work with the in-person rep at the Xfinity store to figure out how I could switch from my way-too-fast and way-too-expensive 800mb Xfinity Internet service plan using my own modem and router to the new Xfinity Now service I had to use the supplied Xfinity Now equipment but there is a bypass so I could still use my own router brCancelled Xfinity internet 800mb speed with unlimited add-on total $120 monthbrNew plan Xfinity Now 200mb unlimited totalbr$45brWorking great and very happy!
Comment from : @CuriousJoeStudios

@SmokeyRidgeRunner
If you live in an area with a single service provider, consider having your significant other sign up to take advantage of introductory pricing For example, the service is currently in my name, but to benefit from the introductory rates, I had my wife sign up This way, we take advantage of the lower rates for 12-24 months before switching back
Comment from : @SmokeyRidgeRunner

@advlandvideo
While I agree with your advice, I wish you had reminded us of data caps and if that is a soft or hard cap Oddly enough, my only options are 4G wireless resellers and satellite Yet I am only about a half mile from a small town Comcast market Spectrum has been installing fibre but they are not saying how soon it will be ready
Comment from : @advlandvideo

@brandonatech3629
Video is a little misleading Starlink is $120 a month plus the equipment is over $500 upfront T-Mobile's 5G and Verizon's 5G Home Internet available but the spots are limited because of capacity reasons AT&T doesn't really want to sell service because they have limited on spectrum on air
Comment from : @brandonatech3629

@JoshF151Tech
Get a Chester Cheetah Gateway/Modem and use a Metro By T-Mobile Tablet SIM Card in it for only $2000 a Month That's what I do! I have more Videos about how to do it on my YouTube Channel for anyone that's interested
Comment from : @JoshF151Tech

@iViSTaZ
I have $80 1g fiber with Frontier, and $30 TMHI So for $110, I have a main, and backup connection I'm not on the actual TMHI backup plan, I have the regular full plan, because if the main ISP goes down, I don't wanna be capped on data over $10-$15 a month
Comment from : @iViSTaZ

@PolicalCentral20-fe1fp
We Urge Netzero To Buy United Communications of Chapel Hill,TN and expand Netzero Broadband to Rural areas in Tennessee Netzero must launch Fiber optic internet
Comment from : @PolicalCentral20-fe1fp

@ed9492
Comcast didn't try to talk me into anything They said Internet is $130 a month, take it or leave it
Comment from : @ed9492

@GeorgeEsposito-v4d
Verizon 5G, love it
Comment from : @GeorgeEsposito-v4d

@aaronhendrickson
When I had DSL, it was more stable than cable Response time was always the same no matter the time of day
Comment from : @aaronhendrickson

@Lynn-r8h
I live in rural America There aren’t choices
Comment from : @Lynn-r8h

@rosswarren436
My only real option is Spectrum They have a "one size fits all" deal, take it or leave it 300Mbps for $80/month You can buy faster if you want, but only businesses might need faster It does make me mad I could get by doing all the streaming I need with 50Mbps if they'd offer it for $30/month But they won't Starlink is over $100 per month and has high upfront equipment costs For those out in the boonies it might be the only option, better than HughesNet in terms of latency and speeds I keep hoping T-Mobile or Verizon will roll out their 5g based Internet sometime, but who knows when that will be here in rural NC What makes me madder is that for those on disability or poor enough to qualify for school lunch programs, Spectrum does offer a slower package for a cheaper price But they sure only do that because of legal reasons, not because they want to
Comment from : @rosswarren436

@pmjeterjr
I live in a small apartment, I have Verizon 5g home it works great for me, I got lucky and get the 300 Mbps for $2500 per month for 10 years I am heading into starting on my 3rd year and love it! My speeds are pretty much on spot all the time! I have 18 items connected to my Wi-Fi router, and used 343 GB last month and I have been higher in usage I am fortunate that I do live in and area in Ohio that I have multiple options to choose from so competition is high here Spectrum is losing a lot of costumers to this type of service you are so right in calling around and checking on prices
Comment from : @pmjeterjr

@ryamelp
I was surprised how many people I ran into with 1 gig on a 100mbps router Or my windows 7 pc with 8 gigs of ram is to slow so I went to 500mbps to make it faster
Comment from : @ryamelp

@SandraCrockett
I ditched Spectrum $9300 per month for AT&T internert Big savings indeed Your show was the reason I never gave up looking for alternatives to Spectrum internet and I live in Downtown Los Angeles
Comment from : @SandraCrockett

@Cyn-hr3di
Thank you Xfinity is going up $50 next month My bill would be $154 I switched to T mobile for $35 a month as a senior on my son’s T mobile account Just wonderful You have given me so much insight lately
Comment from : @Cyn-hr3di

@SirRome-tg1df
Great video on this, because that's what I do I get a great promotional discount deal with my Internet service And use my own router to save on rental fees
Comment from : @SirRome-tg1df

@retrogametech1626
Comcast charges me 150$ a month for internet there wallering out my wallet
Comment from : @retrogametech1626

@AAa-qd8hb
Some of us have no real affordable ISPs deals or options Hope 2025 gets better quicker Internet deals at a lower depression price
Comment from : @AAa-qd8hb

@MrOmega52
I have xfinity Gigabit for $50 a month because, with it I get two cell lines for $25 a month If I go to another option such as fiber, my cell bill goes up and off sets the savings Unfortunately, one size doesn't fit all
Comment from : @MrOmega52

@alwilkinson1549
Have a happy new year Luc I always enjoy watching you You do a great job
Comment from : @alwilkinson1549

@Jbones72
Optimum fiber at 300 for $63
Comment from : @Jbones72

@maureencorrigan5360
I switched to tmobile from Comcast a year ago, thanks to the advice from cord cutters I now pay $50 a month versus $250 I also added tablo, I can record Ota Best move I ever made
Comment from : @maureencorrigan5360

@TOUGHCHOICE
NO EGGS FOR YOU IN MICHIGAN WHY DO YOU ALL PUT UP WITH THIS TYRANNY1 1 2025 STARTNO EGGS IN ANY GROCERY STOREWTF
Comment from : @TOUGHCHOICE

@kidhenderson8260
I only have and need 100MPS for streaming and online gamingno issues Only cost me 2200 a month with Spectrum Price locked for 2 years since I was going to drop them They are our only option aside from satellite in my area
Comment from : @kidhenderson8260

@spencerduncan
We are too far from the Internet on any provider And only have Spectrum for cable Only other options are satellite that are all more than my spectrum In a rural area in Western New York 30 miles from any sizable towns
Comment from : @spencerduncan

@crosslink1493
Like you said, just call up and ask the companies what they can do for you depending on the download/upload speeds you need I got Spectrum to extend my 2-year-old intro rate of $50/mo so staying with them for now
Comment from : @crosslink1493

@brianbedoe8656
When Luke mentioned earlier this year that Comcast/Xfinity was going to offer "NOW Internet" at $40 for 200 meg service, I contacted my local Comcast office (Franchise store??) and they played dumb (add your own comment here) A week or 2 later at that same local office/store they had NOW Internet displays on the floor, and they still played dumb!! They didn't want to switch me over I ended up about 10 miles up the road at a "Company Owned" Comcast store and I was in and out in 15 minutes with Canceled Comcast service and NOW Internet I have not looked back since BTW, I was ready to cancel Comcast and switch over to Verizon Home 5G if I was hassled again, but I didn't have to play that card I already had Comcast coming into the house, so hookup was a breeze
Comment from : @brianbedoe8656

@mikefalderoff8236
Going to 500 mbps…from a GB isn’t that much on Fios I would only save $15 and it includes the Wi-Fi router
Comment from : @mikefalderoff8236

@loulopez554
Your channel is the best Luke!
Comment from : @loulopez554

@chrism2675
Switched from $90 Spectrum to $40 T-Mobile 5G internet and couldn't be happier for almost the same speeds but with half the cost Got tired of Spectrum's bs
Comment from : @chrism2675

@brandonsmith1198
My other question, please stop the YouTube ads
Comment from : @brandonsmith1198

@brandonsmith1198
We sort of paying for the Internet, but generally, I don’t know how much the Internet goes for so I don’t really know for sure
Comment from : @brandonsmith1198

@georgeawestjr9087
You should mention Altice USA, Inc, the parent company of Optimum in the New York City metropolitan area You might be able to get cheaper internet service getting the lower band
Comment from : @georgeawestjr9087

@edp4475
I have verizon 5G home internet with 300 down and 20 up for speed this my 3rd year having verizon paying $25 month which price lock for 10 years I live northwest suburbs of Chicagoland I have 6 options for internet if I include starlink
Comment from : @edp4475

@JimBailey
Thank you Cord Cutters News :)
Comment from : @JimBailey

@jeffreywestphal1223
I had AT&T 300M fiber for $7000 a month Now I have T-Mobile 5G for $3000 a month with T-MOBILE mobile service
Comment from : @jeffreywestphal1223

@mando7558
I am paying over $100 per month for Charter/Spectrum for 600 Mbps Internet in the Traverse City, MI area I think it is time to call them and see what tier plans they have
Comment from : @mando7558

@dak6028
Only viable option for me is Comcast Old phone service over 20 years ago has 512K as a max…no good No t-mobile, no Verizon and no AT&T here😢
Comment from : @dak6028

@mariannejennisch9293
I only have cable or dsl phone internet Verizon hadn’t opened up yet for my area If I wished to get that
Comment from : @mariannejennisch9293

@timmywarren3693

Comment from : @timmywarren3693

@marshadixon2319
I am very rural Cable tv isn’t even on our street We tried Hughes satellite, what a joke For several years we used a Mifi box and our hotspots on our phone Finally Verizon 5g home internet became available in our area and with it bundled with my phone it’s very reasonable Happy to now have internet
Comment from : @marshadixon2319

@MotownBatman
Dis is De Way!brIt's been Hard in Dryden, MI: we just Recently got a 2nd Option, Frontier wasnt even offering DSL while the next town over has it

Comment from : @coolerking7427

@dozn1111
I was paying $85 with sparklight till I called and they said oh we have new plans now $39 a month AMAZING HAHAHHA and my package went up a tier too lol
Comment from : @dozn1111

@zanshikaijin2709
You have a penchant for conflating speed with bandwidth 100/200/400 megabit is the width of the pipe that transfers data, in simple terms It's close to comparing water pipes
Comment from : @zanshikaijin2709

@kngrfdegj5940
No need to switch Just threaten to cancel and get a new promotional rate It has worked for decades for Spectrum
Comment from : @kngrfdegj5940

@magulater1
