Gem color in hell does not matter Always run amethyst it’s safest huge toughness buff You can just change color for a little gold later brbrBecause of course we are not on easy mode practice and are playing hardcore

The best way to get gems is take a broken crown with you on bounties put it on before opening the chest for the boss bounties , and by far the best is wear the broken crown while doing whymsidale (rainbow goblin realm) , yes the gems duplicate from every single cloud that gets open😊

Another great way to get gems is to be constantly resetting your game between Neph rifts Search for close bosses that are on bounty Skeleton King, Maghda, Zoltun Kulle, Azmodan etc

broken crown on your follower, if you are in a group you can carry a crown with you and try to remember to swap it on before killing a gem goblin or opening chests A decent reliable gem farm is to just spam boss bounties that are quick to get to and quick to kill (aka no cutscenes like Belial) as long as the boss is the bounty quest the chest will drop a bunch of gems and you get double of the one kind but yeah, spamming rifts you find lots of gobbies/gobblin packs, before you know it your loaded up on diamonds/topaz to convert to w/e you need
