It's going to take a lot more money than this Canandaigua's glory days are decades in the past and, although the city looks better than it did a few years ago, there's a need for more sources of employment than a couple of coffee shops I moved away some 60 years ago and recently considered moving back, but Canandaigua has neither the vibrance of a small city nor the quaintness of a resort town (which it once was) I visited a few months ago and there was nothing that pulled me back The hospital is unimpressive, main street still seems depressed, and housing prices are out of line with reality (but that's all over these days) The poverty rate must be around 9 and, if anything, it's slowly increasing Comment from : @TheRm65 |
