 The 8 reales from the ship wrecks seem to be over priced It is hard to appreciate these coins because of the hype I think these coins are over priced by 200 to 300 percen I was real interested in shipwreck coins at first I do not mind paying a fair price, I actually have an early 8 reales coin from a reputable dealer

 Thanks for sharing! So the numbers match up but the assayers were listed as "R" on the coin paper and "T" on the document Why would that happen?

 Beware the counterfeits: I got suckered on one of these from a dealer The COA sure looked real, as did the coin When I sent it into PCGS, it came back "Altered Date" Cheers

 SecondOn Mel Fisher's website,there are 2 different dates with the T assayer mark,1618-1621 and 1621-1647The assayer on both were Juand Ximenez de TapiaAlot of good info there
