A lesson plan is a teacher's daily guide for what students need to learn, how it will be taught, and how learning will be measured It typically includes the goal (what students need to learn), how the goal will be achieved (the method of delivery and procedure) and a way to measure how well the goal was reached (usually via homework assignments or testing) An organised teacher will always be able to deliver the lesson within the given time frame It boosts the confidence of the teacher

Holy heavens, I do feel sorry for American teachers If paperwork for a lesson alone takes this much time and is so convulated, I can't imagine any time, energy, motivation or creativity being left in the long run It definitely goes a way in explaining American high school poor results when compared to other advanced countries
