I know Half-Life and Portal are already canonically part of the same universe, but it still would’ve been cool to have a direct reference to Half-Life in Portal, especially with an enemy like this

This would’ve been an interesting addition to the Combine, unique design, and possibly the most challenging, I know Valve wanted to make the Enemy List in Half Life 2 “unique from Half Life 1” But the combine is just the army enemies from HL1 except they can shoot while moving So if the Combine is just reskinned HECU why not a reskinned female assassin as well The Cremator and Combine Guard I think were removed because they were too similar to the flamethrower enemy from Power Up I think from HL1, an easy fix for that would be just replacing the weapon Maybe the Combine Guard could have like a minigun instead
