I have just one medium-size misalignment on my central incisors due to being hit by a thrown rock as a kid Just got invisalign today and I'm feeling only slight discomfort Gets a bit stronger when taking them off, but not painful at all I'm guessing it's way easier to use for few simple misalignments I'd probably go with braces if I had a lot of misalignments or a big misalignment to fix

Invisalign is mostly cheaper than braces in Australia Got braces and hate them Orthodontist delegates jobs to others so I feel conned Wires in checks Food stuck, bracket fell off and she used pliers so hard to help it adhere which cause me not to be able to eat on that tooth and knocked out filling in tooth next to it They said go to your dentist Very poor expensive service I wish I’d gone Invisalign

I got braces a month ago and hate it I was told to go braces that they get a better result No informed decision making I just trusted that He gets others to do half the work I question scope of practice of dental nurses attaching wires unsupervised and oral hygienist using pliers to fix a broken bracket on so hard that the filling has fallen out I’ve been conned It’s a money making revolving door in which you don’t see the orthodontist much

I’d probably recommend Invisalign for people with teeth grinding/bruxism Otherwise it can be awkward and inconvenient with Invisalign needed to take the slingers on and off during when consuming non water foods and drinks Let alone in public…

Invible lines are more expensive because u were them less time Like around 6 thru 8 months With braces u use them 2 or 3 years If u wanna know prices mines are about $4500 but u have payments options $150 monthly or $250 if u wanna pay it faster I used braces too and they costed me $3500 unfortunately my teeth moved bck so im using invisible line this time

Wish I saw this video before going Invisalign I had metal braces growing up and had a fantastic experience He is correct that while the pain exists for a few days it goes away each time you have a visit After you wear them for 1-2 years you honestly don’t notice them on you anymore brbrHowever, as an adult I decided to go with Invisalign and found them to be harder to deal with because you cannot snack or drink coffee/tea without removing the tray and cleaning your teeth before putting them back on Not to mention the pain is harder to deal with because you are constantly moving teeth every 1-2 weeks Lastly, what they don’t mention is with Invisalign they typically have “bite ramps” which are small plastic ramps on the back of your two front teeth and it gives you a lisp for 2-4 weeks I eventually talked to my ortho and decided to switch to traditional and have no regrets

Hmmm I disagree on cheek discomfort Invisalign do cut the inside of lips and cheeks, and nail files don’t solve this issue Dental wax is required to heal the soft tissues in the mouth

What I wish I knew beforehand with clear bracesbrbr1) supposed to avoid turmeric, so missing chunk of my normal diet (Not the end of the world, but your brackets will go from clear, to a bit yellow)brbr2) avoid black coffee Brackets slow / trap the coffee, so your teeth will stain more than normal

Is there a specific reason why the Invisalign goes all the way down to the gums? I've encountered a lot of people who experienced gum recession from their Invisalign and common advice cutting/filing the tray in case it pokes your gum Wouldn't it technically be possible to make Invisalign a tiny bit shorter right to it wouldn't touch
