I had a lumbar crisis, with pain and treatment, and I didn't wear the aligners for 7 days brI'm 62 years old and I'm on my second plate I also can't be too strict with the hours, because I can't lose weight My dentist said that I can take them out as many times as necessary, but I should put them back in afterwardsbrI consider myself quite responsible with my treatment, but I had this setback at the beginningbr What do you think? I have just one medium-size misalignment on my central incisors due to being hit by a thrown rock as a kid Just got invisalign today and I'm feeling only slight discomfort Gets a bit stronger when taking them off, but not painful at all I'm guessing it's way easier to use for few simple misalignments I'd probably go with braces if I had a lot of misalignments or a big misalignment to fix Comment from : @med2904

Wish I saw this video before going Invisalign I had metal braces growing up and had a fantastic experience He is correct that while the pain exists for a few days it goes away each time you have a visit After you wear them for 1-2 years you honestly don’t notice them on you anymore brbrHowever, as an adult I decided to go with Invisalign and found them to be harder to deal with because you cannot snack or drink coffee/tea without removing the tray and cleaning your teeth before putting them back on Not to mention the pain is harder to deal with because you are constantly moving teeth every 1-2 weeks Lastly, what they don’t mention is with Invisalign they typically have “bite ramps” which are small plastic ramps on the back of your two front teeth and it gives you a lisp for 2-4 weeks I eventually talked to my ortho and decided to switch to traditional and have no regrets Comment from : @Seti_Yeti
