In Asia many people speak English In the Philippines English is the second language But in some European countries like brFrance and Spain hardly anyone speaks English, not even doctors and high level students When your hospitalized in Barcelona nobody will understand you speaking English

Chinese students who want to attend schools in the US and UK have to pass English profieciency called the TOEFL Hence, they are motiviated to learn the language if they want to do that, and possibly have careers in Business as some of these student do

Saying humble things from time to time doesnt make you humble Chinese people are not actually very modest on average They will tell you for an hour without taking a breath how chinese food is the best, china has the richest culture, they look after their families more, it is the safest place in the world, and just on and on forever They also react very strongly to any criticism or loss of face, and this in itself is also not very humble because improvement and humility requires the ability to self criticise and accept criticism Don't go imagining Chinese people to be humble It isn't quite the case Lol

A foreign student's English is just as good as she was taught by the teachers(teachers from the UK , USA or local Chinese) Spoken English is so well studied by lingusts n it is almost like EngineeringThere is nothing inherent that Chinese students have some difficulties in learning Spoken English Ask yourself, how much do you know English(as native or learned foreigner) to do this kind of silly video reporting An Engineer can n will explain the engineering principles involved in their works Can you do the same with your Spoken English ?

I'm a medical student and I am studying for Msc degree in the UK I got MBBS in China Because medical course weren't taught in English in my undergraduate school, I found it is stressful to study the Msc course even if is medical research not clinical For example, you have to write a 800-word essay in the mid exambrBecause I can't think in English, I have to translate Chinese into English during the exam, which wastes a lot of time😢
