That makes sense if they cut the mega mushroom out because of lag in multiplayer But at least in new super Mario bros 2 they brought it only because it was a sequel to the first game but more strict so u can’t store the mega in your inventory anymore

Um, the Mega Mushroom is in New Super Mario Bros 2, so they didn't cut it from 2D Mario entirely, just the home console ones
