I’ve noticed from my channel income that it’s extremely hard to make good revenue unless you have your own business back end or take on sponsors Adsense alone is not much at all Especially for the gaming niche which has lower CPMs My CPM is around 15 but it doesn’t reflect in my actual revenue Either way always cool to pull off the hood and get to see what’s underneath! the Gaming RPM is extremely low for youtube :/ its crazy seeing the financial channels get $10 for 100 views, just gotta keep grinding! (but a heads up for people starting youtube enjoy the process don't chase the money!)

RPMs are always terrible in January on YouTube Companies start spending less on advertising immediately after holiday season (which is highest RPMs get every year in November and December) but they tend to get back to normal in March We all hate January hahabrbrBy the way love the content man Been a silent viewer for a while but I love what you’re doing!

A much needed video to give a real perspective To answer your question about what I've taken awaybrI will say as a small channel at 20 subs, to those who are interested in starting their own Lower your expectations especially in the beginning You might honestly not have the necessary skills in the beginning to make engaging videos that people stay watching and thats okay I certainly didn't however, keeping at it, using dedication and grit you'll slowly improve over time and I feel like I'm slowly getting the hang of creating videos I'm consistently happy about Be honest with yourself when things aren't up to par and most importantly do something about it Whether it's rerecording the entire thing or scrapping it to create something better See the trials and tribulations as a way to learn and I promise you'll take a lot from your failures especiallybrbrIt's okay to change your subjects/niche around if you aren't feeling fulfilled, I switched mine to a more narrow one Focusing especially on mental health and well, it has been my life for the past few years so naturally my passion for that directly translate into better videos I don't feel burnout as a result too If a subject isn't something you're actually passionate about, you do NOT have to make it even if you see similar videos getting good tractionbrbrOne of my favorite aspects has definitely been the community, seeing people leave incredibly insightful comments, hearing peoples perspective has been awesome and I really appreciate every single person leaving their thoughts, building that audience and seeing that community take form slowly is simply amazing! And knowing people are watching, and taking something of value away is probably the biggest motivation if I want to look outside myself I do this more so as a hobby and while that doesn't always translate to views, but that hasn't been my goal, helping people has been It might change but we'll seebrbrbrbrThanks for this one WhyLearn, I definitely got a lot from this one and man you just keep being inspiring!
