I recently just ordered a box of halves and when I got them today it ended up being a whole box of 2022 P halves, idk what to do with all these, they are all nifcs and I’d be stupid to put them back, I’m gonna keep a couple of rolls I just don’t know what to do with all of them do I keep ‘em or take them back and try for another box? Lol

I've weighed penny rolls recently and an all Zinc roll is about 126 to 127 grams A decent roll with a fair amount of copper weighs 134 grams, (that's about 20 copper) This last box had more than half the rolls weighing in at over 140 grams My biggest copper score in one roll was 29 copper Pennies in one roll The box average about 19 per roll That's almost 40, also it had very little shield cents (like 10 to 20 in the whole box)brMy thought is someone had filled a big jug years ago & just recently brought it in brNot a huge wheat cent score though only 26 Towards the beginning I was hoping for 40 or more My record wheat score is 51 and that box didn't really have a bigger than average copper score

Hey Rob, I found the weighing interesting Good hunt, much better than the box I told you I was getting Got it home and the box was way different than the good/great boxes I had been searching Opened it up and they were hand wrapped which could have been good, but Opened the first roll and the coins were sharpied that would maybe be DDO's sadness already searched rolls! It goes to show that the 226 rule is not necessarily in stone as it can contain something slightly below it, but yet contain nothing slightly above it, but would still make an ideal, average ballpark figure to use as a rule of thumb!
