Yes, depending on the item and person I meet at my house I do my research on people and know their info and address in case something happens I’m also not moving big and heavy items every time someone wants to look at them brbrMost of the time I meet 3 min away To save time on no-shows and late ppl I don’t leave until they say they’ve arrived there

First, don't meet at your housebrSecond, you have the person's contact info from FB Marketplace (And maybe even their cell phone # if they contacted you) So you can call them and ask them to pay for your mailbox

He can't drive at all I would never sell anything that invited strangers to my home You never know what they are really looking for? Too many weirdos out there these days! We loaded up thousands of dollars of really nice items and donated it all to reputable second hand stores when we sold our huge home and built another I completed decorated differentlySometimes I think about how I should of held a yard sale insteadbut I still believe I msde the right choice after seeing this and other horror stories

That driver definitely doesn't need to be driving a motor vehicle The Chevy crossover he's driving has a back up camera with sensors If he cannot see or hear the warning chimes when backing up he should get his license suspended for poor vision He could have easly killed a small child Take his license away asap!

When I buy something on marketplace I make sure it's not too far away from me and I advise them I'm driving an unmarked patrol vehicle and color and that I Carry a firearm since it comes with the occupation especially if they give me the address to their home when I suggest a supermarket parking lot, mall , police station or firehouse Only 2 occasions when a seller stopped the contact when going to meet up in public after I advised them of that I immediately flagged their posting to FB
