I would add a step that gets severely overlooked is creating and updating your resume/cv as you earn certs and complete projects I know that people often only spend about 5 minutes on this and having a great looking resume/cv that showcases your skills can often propel you into a role quicker than expected Take the time to thoroughly craft out your experiences, especially if you are coming from zero experience You’ll thank yourself later 😎

Don’t give up hope guys I became a cloud sec analyst last year You would not believe me when I told you the bullshit I had to go through It took me five years and I dropped out of grad school Think about it We get paid as much as lawyers or PA’s 5 years ain’t nothing On track to be a cloud sec engineer by next year!brbrbrOne thing I would highly recommend is getting Cloud Academy It’s a yearly subscription and it’s slightly expensive but man is it worth it

This guy went to university and had plenty of technology (relevant) experience before becoming a cloud engineer Its not an entry level job It would be helpful to do help desk intern or even unpaid internships considering the job market, while pursuing your certifications and work your way up
