 Yeah Im in the same boat, I bought 5 of them at an auction for $17 Unsure if they were real or not It was worth the gammble Mine were fake as well But Im still going to keep just for fun They are still pretty neat to have Many of the fake were still made in the alte 1800's So there still old

 @mtthwcochrane I was assuming they were fake, I'm pretty sure I said something like I didn't know if they were or not but like I said I do not have them for gold value or numismatic they are more decorative

 LOL those are definatly fake #1 there a little to gold in color to be real If they are 10-14k it wouldnt be that shinny Plus do you think it would keep that luster after 150 years

 @MichaelSwan66 Like I said in the video, most are not really investment coins I have seen some graded by NGC or PCGS that were selling for quite a bit but sometimes you have to be an expert to distinguish the valuable ones from the common low value ones
