Ok the process is not easily understood unless the machining parts and pressing tools are shown in detail that little diagram of a cookie factory does nothing for someone like me that has coins that are possibly mint errors and need to have more detail on dies like how is the die fastened is it screwed into something chambers? How's the hammer attached?

So the master die is made by a machine engraving the portrait into steel

Another great video I thought I was pretty much up to speed on minting process Never thought much on coin coils And how much of that part of the process can cause errors My mind alway always started with a sheet of metal at the punching stage
