Another words, when you have a bad attorney, he can screw up your case and in some situations, screw up your life, there is nothing you can do about it Maybe it was a bad client attorney fit or just the sheer incompetence of the attorney, the clients usually have zero recourse In medicine, at least you can sue for malpractice But based on what you've said, this is a tought hill to climb so clients are screwed either way! Is there any wonder why attorneys is one of the most hated professions by the public??!!!

My lawyer works on a contingency basis which means, he doesn't get any money unless I win my case So many things were done wrong and I know it! I was basically intimidated into settling for a tiny fraction of what I should have been offered, based on the formula used to settle such cases! I signed the agreement December 12th My lawyer told me, 20 days! No check Over a month later! And it appears that there's nothing I can do? I do believe my lawyer settled for much more than he told me!!

Back in 2014 my step dad sponsored my mom, my brother and me for a green card and the lawyer only submitted my mom’s petition to the uscis and the following year my mom got her green card but me and my brother never got our green card and we’ve been struggling ever since and the lawyer just left the office and disappeared

My son lawyer never answered our text or calls every blue moon Never showed my son discovery but on court date tried to offer him a plea deal We like what? And me studying law informed my son Also, the lawyer told his dad he never watch any of the surveillance but said he was more involved but my son was little involved We constantly asking for the discovery but the lawyer will not show us He keep saying what the prosecutor saying, like I don’t want to just take the prosecutor word I would like discovery Plus on the affidavit they did not see my son in the frame of the camera on eye witness statement

This is very lawyercentric We've had four different attorneys for a complicated situation All but one have lacked transparency, been woefully disorganized, procrastinated and damaged our case In one case the attorney we worked with had all the info in her head and quit the firm We weren't informed for two months

question i file a small claims against a driver his insurance accepted fault and so did he i won the case but the judge low balled my car value and ignored my lost wages and diminished value can i still hire a lawyer and sue his insurance since i only sued the driver

After my last attorney, I swear I will literally shop around for an attorney if I ever need one again before signing with the first person I sat down with my attorney, who had no empathy at all, and he didn’t like to explain himself to me regarding anything about my case The receptionist would always say he would give me a call, but I would wait weeks and weeks, even months, and it wouldn't be anything until I went to his office and demanded to speak to him

I have a question dealing with a personal injury TbC case traumatic brain injury what's seizures after the accident in the facts is there the medical facts is there the doctors are in place can you get to the mediation settlement the first one and the second one and the defense side the insurance lawyers are trying to lowball and your lawyer is actually coercing you to settle for the low ball and when you don't accept your lawyer has an attitude or gets kind of upset change of behavior attitude first and second mediation settlements because of the low ball at this point you feel like your lawyer is not really in your corner pushing you to to take a low ball but at the same time saying it's too low towards the end of the mediation could this mean that your lawyer is making a side deal with the defense side or he's just trying to get a quick recovery money on his behalf please if you can answer your questions thank you very much

I was only told about a retainer fee $500 not $500 an hr to do not much Been to court 2x on victim restitution case and third one in couple weeks I provided him the crash report and my insurance I could litigated with other party been done Example I had I lady hit my car I called her and insurance and already got reimbursed So why does he not know what damages are?
