Seriously, standing there as intelligent person going in about the best way to teach The method that was used up until the early 2000s work making intelligent people The methods you and so many talk have not crated intelligent individuals Technology, stations, the 4 Cs you talk about, and all the othe gimmicks out there have not crated better critical thinkers The lack of parenting has also negatively affected the classroom The future will and does have more less intelligent people now over the last 15 to 20 years because people who believe the old ways didn't work The proof is in the history

The teaching methods tought in universities are corrupted Not all but most professors teach only 50 or less what is expected from the student For the other 50, they put the student under heavy load of unhealthy stress to figure out the rest, for something that could have taken them a few minutes or less to learn in class Their methodology is a pseudo-teaching system for it's more of a culture than scientifically proven effective For it has proven to be a failure Results speak for themselves

Excellent, Mr Ruhl I believe I was a first year (1984) at Purdue when you were graduating 1985 or 1986 I have been teaching since 1988 - in the Peace Corps (Togo, West Africa), The Orchard School 1992-2006, Marian University 2006-2024, and now working at IPS School 96 K-12 Special Education I also lived in Lafayette, IN from 1975-1977 We should meet sometime - we have a lot in common regarding teaching You're teaching methods for inspiring students of the future is SPOT ON Bravo If you get a chance, look me up
