The instructor is technically correct however the student is also correct to have stopped because the placement of the lights, so far back in the road, is all wrong and gives the impression that car’s making a turn should stop Poor road planning as is often the case in the UK Part of me thinks this level of incompetence has to be a ruse to fine unsuspecting motorists
