It's interesting how times change About 25 years ago, had YouTube been around, this video would have been unthinkable without mentioning the coin minted to mark the death of Diana, Princess of Wales Her death was a case of national (media?) hysteria Yet, today, she's not even deemed worthy of mention in a video of coins produced to mark the death of a royal brbrI'm not criticising - I am merely commenting on how the passage of time gives perspective

I've just uploaded a video which contains my displeasure at these coin companies, who have put profit and greed before respect, flogging these tokens before the Queen's funeral (and they haven't even made them, all awaiting stock) I won't be getting them, but will await the official release from the RM

Regarding 10:47, the Royal Mint in 2017 released 50 pence coins commemorating the 375th anniversary of the birth of Sir Issac Newton The coin did not feature a portrait of Sir Issac Newton Instead the coin on its reverse side featured a diagram of the Solar system showing the sun at the focal point of the elliptical orbits of planets from Sir Issac Newton's book "Principia Mathematica"
