I used to work at a hagwon in Seoul and generally the students speak better English Most have studied overseas in Canada and the USA In general some Korean people speak better English

Whoever have this expectations that the Chinese should have some English speaking skills , is either irrational or just plain stupid to even think about that in the first place! Why should the Chinese bother about a foreign language like English esp, when they r living in their own country! It’s more logical for foreigners living , working or coming to China as visitors, should try to learn basic mandarin in order to communicate with the people there rather than expecting the Chinese to speak English or any other foreign languages on their own soil This is ridiculous & arrogance! Pls have some respect for the people of a country that u r visiting
