Regular Rock music was great It united a broad section of people Stuff like Eddie Money, The Stones and even Boston, etc It was Rock with sometimes harder aspects, but still had walking basslines, and drew very heavily from R&B/ Motown, with guitars in place of the horns, or sometimes, added to the horns section like early Aerosmith and the Stones Comment from : @tenbroeck1958 |

I have seen many of the great rockers from 1976 forward ACDC, Foreigner, The punk bands I seen a lot of live shows I saw Eddie in 1977 at Winterland I was a San Fran Bay Area kid He blew us away Absolutelty, blew our doors off Jimmy Lyons on guitar was incredible as well I hold that show, "Ronnie Montrose" was the other act, as one of the absolute best shows I have ever seen I survived the very same cancer that took Eddie, at least so far And I was diagnosed very close to the time he was diagnosed This was one hell of a guy and I was deeply saddened to see him taken away I actually shed a tear for his passing With him went a piece of my youth and in some way, a piece of the memory of how happy and uncomplicated youth is in its best moments I hope he is in a better place Comment from : @evansglennp |

Apparently this is a concert because you can barely hear music in the background and there would be no reason for a police barricade So maybe he is high but he also may have tried to answer the questions as fast as possible OR he was just a fast talking New Yorker Obviously a genuine dude !! Refreshing ! Comment from : @musicmaven66 |

What a sweetheart he was RIP, Eddie You notice how down-to-earth and unaffected he is? His amiable way with the interviewer? Try finding that today in someone with even 1/10th of Eddie Money's talent We're left with a gaggle of narcissistic prima donnas clinging to their auto-tune machines for dear life Comment from : @eigrp |
