You don't have to fill out anything in California unless it's over 10k Most coin shops are absolute rip offs, the internet is a better place to buy and sell compared to 90 of the coin shops Most shops won't pay anything over spot As far as worries about losing something in the mail, it's called insurance I've never lost a package in the mail

Q: What is the reasoning for even buying like a big old bar of silver, with all that space and weight? How do people even sell it, if no dealers want to buy it? I see some people selling the big bars of silver on ebay, but how would anyone even know if it is real? I see them in pawn shops, but who would buy it? Is it supposed to be for melting down to make something from it? Or would it be for like, trade/buying 4 truck tires in bad times? With the prices how they are, it's not really that much more expensive to just buy Canadian maple leaves, kangaroos and the other ones anyway Although, Eagles(high) and libertads(high AF) seem to have the highest premiums by a long shot

Of course a Seller can't merely divide the "trigger amount" for Federal paperwork filing in to SMALLER "non-trigger-amount" (separate) sales even when selling to different Buyers I believe the Feds have that scenario covered by the imposition of certain "date/time of sale" considerations as is detailed in the applicable law Certain legal "presumptions" come in to recognition that apply to the AMOUNT of "lapse or non-lapse" of time between any such individual sales

This is an aspects of stacking that doesn't get enough attention Thanks for filling in the gap On the federal level it seems that you can avoid the paperwork by simply selling under those stated quantities brbrAnother thing to keep in mind is that if you do sell in a manner that requires paperwork you will need to keep sufficient records of your purchases
