I like to cover the bulletin boards in my husband's classroom with cotton fabric It eliminates the bubbles you can get with paper, it doesn't show holes from staples/pins, and you can change it out seasonally if you want to use patterns Joann Fabrics has a discount for teachers, which you can use along with one of their 40 or 50 coupons and it is relatively inexpensive that way!
