Amazing video! Everyone told me i should do veterinary work and being a firefighter is to dangerous for me but i would love to start working at it and studying a whole lot more! going through volunteer training now, we have 60 hours of formal training before going on calls, and roughly another 100 within the next two years

I'm almost done with my EMT Contemplating going into the fire department as well I am 5'6 and 115lbs Do y'all think I would be strong enough to be a firefighter?? I was in the marine corps, and I’m having a hard time trying to understand why they have to learn marching, saluting, and flag folding Am I missing something? Is it a team building thing?

It’s not all fun & dandy once you’re in it They treat you like you’re in the military Make you run all day yell at you , if you get sick good luck!! Running in cold heat rain wearing your masks You got health issues or asthma that’s your problem The bosses don’t care Lots of guys quit after the 3rd day It’s tuff! Men in their forties , twenties walking out Doesn’t matter how big & tuff you are or even work out It’s literally all mental & it will physically drain you & mentally You run in steel toe boots if your feet hurt oh well and uniform, you missing anything part of your uniform EVERYONE gets in trouble & run again after 4 hrs of running Fckkk military sounds like a better option 😂
