Apple card is hands down the best for me Straight forward cash back, awarded same day Hysa included 3 for stores that I frequent (mobile, ace, Walgreens, etc) And occasional bonuses If you don't fly much, it's hard to beat with $0 annual fee

I had the venture card and swapped it for Chase Sapphire because, while it may appear that you're racking up points, they're not actually worth much - it's not a 1:1 points to miles and the reimbursement on travel is pathetic After a certain threshold you can maybe pay back a $25 bus fare Almost identical benefits with way better point value for a much lower annual fee with Chase Sapphire

If you don’t need travel rewards, this list isn’t applicable I’ve had friends that maintained several thousand dollar balances on travel cards just to keep earning their rewards They didn’t understand they were paying more in interest than they earned through the reward

Great video, but I’m still not sure how the Savor card made it in S tier without a substantial sign up bonus… You would have to spend a huge amount of money to make the rewards worthwhile And if you were gonna spend a lot, why not get a card with a sign up bonus?

Why is no one talking about the Bank of America Preferred card, if you get Platinum or Diamond status, you get 525 cash back on almost any category Online shopping is a huge one When you combine this with other offers, I have gotten up to 12 cash back in same cases

The credits given by the AMEX platinum are incredible Between flight, hotels, TSA PreCheck, Clear, Uber, Disney Bundle, Equinox, and the lounge (my city also Platinum entrances to concert and sporting venues), I’m easily making $1k over the annual fee Some international airports like Madrids also have Platinum security which is essentially like PreCheck/Clear but just go Amex customers Amex’s are charge cards so it is important to consider that you don’t get a boost to your credit score for your “available credit” like other cards will

One thing that’s nice about the Apple Card is there’s a low barrier to entry and no fees It was one of my first credit cards and as a college student it was really convenient in that regard It’s not a great card now that I’m far removed from my college days but it was nice to have to build credit

So the Apple Card, just as a credit card is decent It doesn’t give you the most perks and it doesn’t give you miles and such, but the fact that it’s coupled with a built-in savings account with a competitive high-interest rate, is what makes it a good deal Is it the best credit card no, is it the highest savings account? No but the savings account is very competitive and having all of that all in one in an easily manageable app is a very good deal Grading it solely as a credit card doesn’t do it service just like grading the high-yield savings account only as a savings account doesn’t address the fact that it’s an all-in-one solution that is great for many people

One more thing with the chase sapphire preferred is that they offer an additional 10 of what you pay in points at the end of every anniversary year for your account opening Basically if you spend $10000 with that card, you’ll get an extra 1000 points at the end of the year Not a huge difference but this does help offset the annual fee a little bit

I rate discover card S Back in 2012, when I first came to this country, I tried to apply for credit card but all places declined my request because I don't have credit history as an international student Only Discover approved me with $600 credit line Even though it is just $600, I was able to use that to build my credit history Now I'm over 800 score with no bad debt (only mortgage) Thanks to Discover
