I really wish international post wasn’t so darn expensive Everything good is in America Australia eBay for Barbie Ken etc especially vintage furniture and clothes sucks I can’t afford the international post as a buyer 😢

If I were to calculate how much I make hourly selling Barbies it’s probably less than $1 an hour Sourcing, cleaning, dressing, photography, listing, storing…its a ton of work I wouldn’t do if I didn’t enjoy it and I’m collecting for myself It’s a lot of work

So that last part you mentioned about opening the dolls, I'm actually the kind of buyer who will pay a couple bucks more just so that I can have the experience of unboxing it myself It takes me back to that feeling of being a kid again and opening that shiny new toy It's just so much fun

I received a 1994 doll out of box which was in immaculate condition, in a small padded ENVELOPE from another country!! I was shocked lol Luckily it survived and wasn't damaged in anyway People, for the love of dolls please use strong boxes if selling overseas Thank you!

my mother in law passed a few years ago and had a small barbie collection of about 70 barbie dolls from 1990s to early 2000s there are dolls in every genre, sports, nursery, hollywood, holiday, botanical, cultural ect my husband doesnt want to be bothered with them and is looking to sell them for what his mother had invested into them which is about $35 each they are all in new unopened boxes, never been played with any help i can get with this would be greatly appriciated

My thrift store has been writing the price in ink on the bottom of a foot!! Tragic! Omg so annoying! If price is low enough and comps are high enough I will take a chance and try the benzoyl peroxide (pimple cream} method to remove and often works for ink and other spots on dolls, can be magic but doesn’t always work

Quick question, do you think it sells better if I display the clothes on a doll, a doll mannequin, on Barbie hangers, or flat lay? Does it matter? What’s your preferred method?
