I just got my first credit card in the mail yesterday the limit is 300 bucks it already took the 75 buck annual fee now it’s 225 do I still go by the 30 or less since the credit limit has dropped or do I spend way less because the limit has dropped

Minimum payment doesn’t hurt if you’re never missing a payment it’s OK to be in debt as long as you’re in good standards why are you not explaining it in that way? If you’re spending 30,000 why would you pay 30,000 the next month the bank doesn’t wanna see that they want to see you making payments on that 30,000 and stay consistent with that payment as long as you do that it’s not gonna hurt you

this is really helpful actually I did all of the mistakes that you mentioned earlier the card I have right now is my first, so I definitely fall into the beginner user category brbrI once used all the credit limit to buy a phone It costed me about $1000 however, I didn't pay off everything during the first month cycle I tried to pay a lot, but sometimes there are months when the cashflow was really bad and I only got to pay the minimum amount at the same time, I'm still using it for gas and other casual shopping needs brbrafter about 3 years of using it, I realise that the debt is never ending the interest keeps getting charged onto my card every month with a fixed amount, no matter how much I paid in the previous month at some point, I felt suffocated I started regretting getting and using the card at the first placebrbrwatching this video really helps me out to see things clearer thankfully, I have paid off all the amount left on my card, and decided to close this one as it really doesn't give me the benefits which I really want I have a card in mind, which seems interesting as it gives rewards on a shopping app I use almost on a daily basis, so I probably will go apply for that one insteadbrbrthank you so much, sir Liang your insights are really appreciated ❤

i’m 34 just got my very first credit card last month forgot to use it didn’t affect me woke up today with 50 point increase on my credit score score ! i’m glad i waited get one i was fearful in the past because i saw family and friends go through financial hell dealing with credit cards, and naturally i don’t spend money i don’t have so i never like the idea of essentially borrowing money and paying it back now i’m happy with waiting and happy with how it’s going i was always afraid of debt
