Here's a key thing to know if you are live streaming video games on Twitch and or YouTube is to play a game that's getting a lot of traction and buzz If it's a game that no one is playing or if the game is 5 or 10 years older, with the exception of GTA v, you will not get the audience and subscribers to watch your content More importantly, you will not monetize straight away

I feel like this guy has experience but just made a random video really quick to share that knowledge What I got from it was that doing more than just making random videos grows a channel more than waiting around for people to like your videos You have to milk your audience for money by trading with them Merch and affiliate links make you able to export more than you import (which I learned from school BTW) Essentially you are a business, but you need better brand recognition to sell more products and are directly tied to the quality of your videos
