This should have been the first video of yours I should have watched I'd been wondering why you used so much light tackle at the beach and can see it's more fun A couple of times having been spooled estuary fishing in Nassau sound north of Jax 20 lb test was barely enough Now that I have a long drive to beach fish I'll take some lighter tackle, but I will have one heavy rod for live baiting As long as I don't kill a shark I will want a chance to catch a big scaley fish

It looked like your circle hook was on the dropper loop from outside the bight, you will have a better hook up ratio if you push the loop in from inside the bight of the hook

well you seem to know the fish and the area and the rig I would like to give you a tip and others find the roughest surf you can and throw the shimp in with a medium weight you might be surprised what pops back out MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PLENTY OF SHRIMP if you dont you might just kick you own asslol

I know throwing a topwater would be close to impossible but maybe a spoon, soft plastics, jerkbaits, lipless crankbaits, or bucktails?
