Thank you! You have verbalised some of my own journey After 2 marriages and 2 long-term relationships, I was on my own for 4 years doing my inner work 2 years ago, I realised that I loved and respected others more than myself So I divorced them, and married me, although I never saw it as a marriage but a commitment I'm now living my best life! I take myself on dates; dining, dancing, rave festival, travel, etc, and meet like minded people along the way I still love as I always have but now I have better boundaries I've been in a nearly 2 year long-distance relationship; so yes, slow and steady this time!
