I need to know what competencies and skills of instructional design we have to follow as teachers Two things skills and competencies I would emphasize if I would apply instructional design with my content I teach so which direction Can I use ? the first one , a international standards as following (IBSTPI -ACET ATD) that show the skills and comptenses Second , there are some researchers tend to get the skills from ADDLE Model , and the competences from their experiences So my question is which direction I have to use ?

Before i ask a question i just wanna say thank you for the insight and break down Becauae I'm working on my masters and was forced to take a hiatus from my pursuit for a masters in Instructional technology implying design and use of alot of online software including schoology amongst many Forced to this hiatus becauae of loosing focus and just being deeply fatigued because i was running short on funds working on classes and projects from 9am to 3am almost everyday while working 2 to 3 day jobs and being soo close to graduating i was forced to leave I wanna return and not to just finish but to succeed in this field and land something in relation my knowledege of newer technology is minimal although my background as a PC Tech and Network support gave me insight on possibilties regarding software Finally my question is on Adult Ed do i have to have specific knowledge in adult ed meaning academics english, math etc or along the lines of practical theories cause i'm also interested in adult ed theories, but often in a masters program is quite specific to teach applied math for adults getting thier GED's or specific to a AAs Degree in something exact and can range between learning English or learning to become a Machinist or Electrician Eager to work in adult ed setting As a Instructional Tech & Designer I would like to work in just about any enviornment pre- college prep to College /university to corporate enviornments I really want to know, thank you, i really wanna get back to my original intention
