The best part about the wise card is not the currency conversion, but always paying in the local currency With all cards with no fx fee, you still get dinged a bit if you get a refund, but with wise you don't convert the refund, you get to spend them with no conversation This is a subtle but important detail There are other perks like a local bank account, but that doesn't matter to most folk
