Question: I know that trading view is real time data but tradovate isn't right? because I'm on demo for tradovate right now and I chart on trading view and the prices doesn't match, tradovate would be like 2-3 points off always But I thought they said that demo or live trader would get real time data O_O

I'm so confused So at the very top you show the ES and you highlited the 500$ day margin So what is the initial margin thats to the right that shows 13200? If I wanted to trade say 2 contracts on the ES that would require 1000 but would it also require me to keep a min of 13200 at all times?

This is incorrect You need to put up the initial margin to open a futures position For /MNQ, that would be $1650 That's the MINIMUM you'd need to have in your account at all times otherwise you will get a margin call broker will ask you to restore account to $1650 Your broker may have higher margin requirements than the exchange to cover their ass
