Hi Andrew Great video In your analysis you didn’t mention land transfer taxes Doing this scheme in Toronto you normally pay double the amount It will add up to a substantial amount So the question is do you pay this land transfer taxes in spite of the fact that you kept if for a very short period and nobody lived in it ? You forgot to mention the payments you were making towards mortgage ( not sure how fast you sold it) and if less than a year almost 50 of your gain goes to taxes you have to wait a year and must be your residence to avoid any taxes Comment from : @peyvandmanavipour |
