I suggest Understanding Basic Music Theory by Catherine Schmidt-Jones It's a great book for people who've been playing for a little but don't quite understand the basics of it all This book goes through things like intervals, chords, keys, harmony, musical textures, the basic physics of music, some ear training, and a lot more that would take too much time to list I have been rummaging through this book and I've found really useful diagrams and examples that get me through my daily music lifebrbrAnyway, great video and I'll be sure to look at Harmony by Walter Piston which seems to be exactly what I'm looking for!
