He talks about community college in this video, but what’s also really good is dual enrollment If you can, I would suggest these classes as well, allows you to get rid of high school and college credits at the same time I did that and have completed almost all my core hours for college before I have even started!

I was 17 when I first started college, making a decision on what I am going to do with my life is hard I am going to my community college and all I have to pay for are my books because I got a scholarship Everyone in my high school was offered this scholarship but I was 1 of like 10 who kept it and even less used it I'm so glad I did this I now have money in a roth IRA, stocks, Acorns, and a part time job Make fun of community college all you want, I know there are many students that are in the same position as me but are stuck in a 4 year with no money to invest and don't know what they are doing

Actually I disagree with your first statement Rather than recommending what school system is cheaper, I’d recommended seeing which school rewards the most For example, I applied to both private and public schools The most affordable and the best school with growing opportunities after college was a private Why? Merit scholarships!!! If anyone has questions about this I’m all ears! Also When applying for separate scholarships, some schools, even public, take those out of your financial aid- causing you to pay more money!

Its crazy how different the school system is in some parts of EU compared to the US Im currently studying for a degree in buissness and economics and later for a masters and the total cost for that is going to be around 150eur per year for my books and thats it lmao

Great advice - especially moving off campus My son was on campus for his 1st year WITHOUT a meal plan and his shared room dorm fees at his SUNY were approx $1700 a month This year he is in a 3 bedroom apt in Brooklyn with 2 roommates They all have their own rooms / privacy Rent / utilities / groceries / transportation costs come up to approx $1100 That alone saves $600 a month One of the best moves I’ve ever made

Here’s what you do for textbooks Get amazon prime Rent an ebook of your textbook, find a friend in your class you trust, get them to split the cost of the ebook Give them your amazon account so they can download it and put it on the kindle app for their computer Now you both have the ebook for half the price You can now even change your amazon password if you don’t trust them as the amazon access is not required once you have the kindle ebook downloaded

I’m 21, graduated college in 3 years and getting my MBA in the 4th year I have a job making $110k in Manhattan lined up I went to a cheap school instead of UNC brbrBiggest tip: go to an in state school with good job placement brbrBonus: don’t take more than $30k in loans I don’t care if you go Ivy League/Top name if you can’t afford it don’t go! You’ll thank me later when you’re not poverty stricken with loan payments
