I'll give you my update on shooting my hatfield 28 gauge semiautomatic shotgun I shot a box of the federal 7n half shot 1330 fps it shot great but on 9 rounds out of 25 it didn't cycle all the way shell didn't go in all the way after shot smooth shooting maybe I will take it apart and clean it up and oil it really good and try again everything held together really good fore arm didn't crack like I seen on a few videos as soon as I can get it apart and back to range I'll give another update I just picked the gun up 2 days ago great pattern on the modified choke at 35 yrds any ideas why it won't cycle will help I'm only up dating on your chanel you gave the best review so I will stick with you Comment from : Dan kindrew |

Been shooting 28 ga guns for 20 years and learned to reload various hunting/ target shells You will never appreciate the 28 ga performance totally until you reload for it Most of my hunting consists of very long walking drives and the light weight of gun and ammo is preferred This ga is now being discovered and most new 28 ga shooters are really pleased/ surprised!! Comment from : TB Coach Niblick |

So, how did it work? Comment from : Joel Towle |

What's up ! Brother I got one of the SAS 12ga models super lightweight Has the ensursa stytem from benille in it if u read their manual on how it works The guns basically a cheap benille/ bretta Iv take one squirrel with it with 3 inch #4 shot Plus I've missed one 3 rds of 3inch back to back barrely no felt recoil for 3 inch mags with 4 shot brIv took hunting for turkey this year with extra full chuck tube in it Have a turkey hunting video up with me with it Must video is calling birds 🦃 No turkey herd only 2 Only got out one day Got see a young doe come in to 10 yards or less theo Comment from : James Pugh |
I hope the 28 ga is better than the 20 as far as quality My buddy bought one because it was the cheap option Less than 75 rounds through it, the fore end completely split in half, they were all waterfowl loads but that shouldnt matter Would not cycle consistently especially with BOSS and a couple weeks ago we ere shooting 5 stand (type of clays) and the trigger group literally just fell out of the gun after he pulled the trigger Comment from : Ben Urich |
Didn’t see any on the web site Comment from : Duck Brian |

I got the mossberg int Sa 28gauge Same gun as the Weatherby and tristar 3 dove seasons and 500 sporting clays with heavy field loads Not one problem I stripped mine and done a deep clean before I used it Those turk guns, if you look down the rib and look at nothing but bead you will shoot 10" low But if you naturally point it your going to see 3/4 of rib You'll be dead on It took me calling tristar to be educated on turk guns aiming Comment from : Tige A |
that is a handsome looking shooting iron i wish ALL shotguns would use a top tang safety button like on mossbergs, to me thats where it belongs, they got it right Comment from : your momma |
I have a Hatfield SAS 12ga with a Jebs 660 headhunter, and I will tell you it patterns tight It's my turkey gun, it'll put the smack down on birds Yeah it's a cheap gun, I've replaced the fore end already, yes it cracked You can get a synthetic stock for around $70 Give it a chance, they're actually a good gun Break in takes a bit of patience E joy it My next move is a Meadow Creek with a Swampfox Kingslayer because of the green circle dot Comment from : Rusty Casteele |
I can’t wait to see how this thing performs I’ve looked at one myself I have a Yildiz 28 that’s to pretty to take to the woods brI can always cover it in mossy oak for ya Comment from : Terry Lockwood |

The forend will crack if you have it to tight Friend of mine learned the hard way Hatfield did send him a new one no questions asked They seem to be cheaply made Comment from : zach schoels |
