for the money all the things you did is right , except one thing that the cheat engine you can edit all the values , but for the game that will make a conflict , so you have to edit theme one by one until you fine that one belong to the money and get back all the other values to it's original values in the game thank you

Make sure you run cheat engine as administrator, and you can also try running the game as administrator just to make sure In order to do so you can right-click on the icon and simply choose 'Run as Administrator' ;)

Did you run the game yet? And are you sure you're in the right folder? It's not the program files folder, the Euro Truck Simulator 2 is in your documents folder ;)
