I know that every day (unless something unexpected happens) between 18 - 20 it's time for learning a language Usually I set 2 forest sessions if I feel capable I do more, but never less that 1 session (45 mins) it's already in my blood I think :D Comment from : Paulina Karolina |

They don't mess around, they engage in the language and take it seriously Alot of people like the idea of knowing a language, they don't want to learn it though, so they do the bare minimum of 30min a day messing around, doing some duolingo and "shadowing" some youtube-video imagining they will be fluent by the end of the year Comment from : 英語わかりません |

Love the advice you give Currently at the moment I am learning Ukrainian and German, I have been keeping a Language Composition journal to study Comment from : Leon La Grey |

I do like the idea of writing things down, maybe in some sort of journal I tend to do a lot tech based things when it comes to language learning, but doing some writing might be a useful way for me to track progressbrbrI've often thought about iTalki lessons but they can be expensive If I can set enough money aside one day, I'll definitely do thembrbrI've found some language exchanges for Spanish that have been good, but I need to make a regular habit of these as it's pretty much the only regular way I get speaking practice (although I have a cruise in a few days that goes to multiple parts of Spain)brbrI try not to compare myself to others, but it's difficult Historically I set high standards for myself and can get annoyed if I don't achieve thrm Comment from : David |

Thank you so much ❤ ♥️ Comment from : Sanaz in the Universe |

I have used the agile approach for reflecting on my studies but using it for language learning didn´t even cross my mind! I should definitely try setting anchors and stacking more habits because times can get busy and I still want to make some progress Will you add a section with language recourses for Thai on your website? Hi Linde! I want to be like you with languages! brWhat is the app you are using at 4:14 in this video? brAlso, I think of you and your family and pray for your comfort for the loss of your sweet mama May the Lord continue to give you peace Comment from : Neesie Cieslak |
|
Tip: if you're someone who scrolls on your phone while you're doing your business in the bathroom, you can use that time to listen to a podcast or review some flashcards on your phone🤣💁🏻♀🤷🏻♀ if your work or school is far from where you live, you can use that time to listen I have about a 40-90 min drive to uni and back 4x a week, so I always use that time to listen to a podcast in my target languages (or affirmations, cause mindset is important, too ;)) Comment from : Ruby Duran |
|
One could smile knowing my anchor: Duolingo! brMore seriously, my main obstacle to learning is procrastination, Duolingo helps me a lot, especially to practice pronunciation and speaking Comment from : Aline |

Thanks for all Comment from : urso3000 |

I'm not sure if it counts, but I use the days of the week as my anchor(s) And apply my target language to tiny repetitive tasks that I do daily like bathe, eat clean and using social media in the target language I do 6 languages consecutively Comment from : Lingual Addict Ja |
|
Thank you so much for the video! I'm about to face fundamental changes in my routine (that is, combining a full-time job and the final year at uni 🥲) and it is very helpful to be mindful about your daily schedule and the ways you can incorporate learning languages into a packed day All these pieces of advice seem so simple, yet these are often the last things to come to mind when you are overwhelmed with other tasks I especially loved the concept of habit stacking and setting an anchor, because I've never done it consciously, so thank you again for suggesting it :) Comment from : flower power |
